Blackboard Learn is an online learning management system (LMS) that Eastern Kentucky University uses to host course content, collect assignments, and foster communication between instructors and students. By bringing lectures, readings, quizzes, and discussion forums together in one place, Blackboard supports flexible learning—whether students are on campus or studying remotely. This system has been replaced by Canvas and all Summer and Fall 2025 courses will be taught from the Canvas platform.
