Office 365 (now branded Microsoft 365) is EKU’s cloud-based productivity and collaboration platform. It provides every faculty, staff, and student with a single sign-on account that unlocks Outlook email and calendaring, Teams chat and videoconferencing, OneDrive cloud file storage (1 TB per person), SharePoint sites, and the full web/desktop/mobile versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office apps. Because the services run in Microsoft’s data centers, users can work from any location or device with an internet connection while the IT team avoids on-premise server maintenance.
